For to us a child is born, to us a son is given.
He will be called Wonderful Counsellor,
Mighty God, Everlasting Father,
PRINCE of PEACE.
Isaiah 9.6
Once again we are living through turbulent times. There are increasing tensions in the Middle East as well as the ongoing conflict in Ukraine and many other areas of the world. The verse from Isaiah quoted above, looks forward to a time when the world will be a very different place, when there will be peace and justice characterised by wise counsel and good government. The hope will be inspired by the birth of a baby.
This Christmas you are invited to come and hear about the birth of Jesus Christ, the Prince of Peace.
Wishing you a merry Christmas,
Revd Michael Broadley
